Head of the Secretariat of Farabi International Award said the works received for the 9th FIA are in electronic format.

“The Secretariat of the 9th Farabi International Award in the field of Iranian Studies and Islamic Studies started to receive the works of participant researchers in mid-February,” Dr. Hosein Mirzaei said.

“Up to now, eight Awards have been held by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and in collaboration with UNESCO, ISESCO, and Iran’s National Elites Foundation, and the Secretariat started preparations for this year’s Award by receiving the works in mid-February,” the Information and Promotion Department of the Secretariat of the 9th Farabi International Award reported him as saying.

 “Like the previous Awards, this year’s Award will include final research reports, books, doctoral dissertations, and master's theses in two categories” he highlighted.

The closing ceremony of the 8^th FIA came to a successful end in January in Iran International Conference Center in the presence of the President of Iran, and the closing ceremony of the 9^th Award is expected to be held in the second half of the current Iranian calendar year after the evaluation of the received works, Mirzaei added.

It should be mentioned that the deadline for work submission for the 9^th Farabi International Award is May 21, and participants can register at www.farabiawarb.ir.
