Farabi International Award

The Secretariat of Farabi International Award extends its condolences on the demise of Mr. Jean-Claude Carriere, the distinguished French screenwriter and translator of mystical works, to his family, the literary and artistic community and all the friends of Iran.
In the 10th Farabi International Award, which was held on February 28, 2017, Jean-Claude Carriere, was introduced as the top researcher in the field of research, translation and adaptation of the Conference of the Birds (Mantiq-ut-Tayr) and Diwan-e Shams-e Tabrizi.
