The Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Farhadi, and his deputy for Social and Cultural affairs, Dr. Sayed Zia' Hashemi expressed their sympathy for the loss of distinguished scholar, Prof. Dr. Victor Alkek.
Professor Alkek, Lebanese Iranologist and poet, was award-winner of the 8th Farabi International Award who could not attend at the ceremony because of illness. His prizes were awarded to Lebanon ambassador in Iran at the event on February 12, 2017.
They also offered Condolences to the prof. Alkek family and all the scholars and researchers on Iran and Islamic studies.
