Farabi International Award

According to the public relations report of the Permanent Secretariat of Farabi International Award, Dr. Reza Gholami, Director of the Institute for Cultural and Social Studies and the head of the Permanent Secretariat of Farabi International Award, in a message to the ceremony of the dedication of Professor Osman Bakar honored this prominent Malaysian scholar of Islam.

السلام علیکم و رحمه الله
The 13th Farabi International award proudly chose Professor Osman Bakar as one of the prominent scientists and thinkers of the Islamic world.
On behalf of myself and the scientific community of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I congratulate Professor Osman Bakar.
Dr. Osman Bakar, in addition to being a prominent Islamologist, also has a great opinion in the field of Islamic humanities.
Some of his ideas and theories in the field of religious science are famous in Iran and the Islamic world and have been discussed.
Today, the discussion of Islamic humanities has faced seriousness in the Islamic world.
And hundreds of articles and dozens of books in the field of Islamic humanities are published every year.
The evolution of Islamic humanities can help the revival of Islamic civilization.
The main claim of Islamic humanities is that it can solve problems that secular humanities have not been able to solve.
Of course, it should be noted that Islamic humanities do not isolate reason and science, but create a system so that reason and science, along with revelation, can deeply understand the needs of human society and then respond to these needs.
I once again express my happiness at the selection of Professor Osman Bakar at the Farabi International award.
We are waiting for the new scientific works of Professor Bekar in the future.
