According to the public relations report of the Permanent Secretariat of Farabi International Award, Dr. Reza Gholami, Director of the Institute for Cultural and Social Studies the head of the Permanent Secretariat of Farabi International Award, in a message to the ceremony of the dedication of Professor Syed Ali Mohammad Naqvi honored this prominent Indian scholar of Islam.
The text of the message is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
It is a matter of pride for me and on behalf of myself and the Honorable Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to congratulate Professor Syed Ali Mohammad Naqvi, the prominent figure in Islamic scholarship, from the friendly nation of India, for receiving the 13th Farabi International Award Award.
Professor Naqvi is one of the great scholars of the Islamic world who, during recent decades, have shone brightly in the field of expanding, deepening and promoting pure Islamic thought as well as confronting intellectual prejudices and religious misunderstandings. By the grace of Allah the Almighty, he has authored and published numerous scientific works and has attained high levels of scientific success.
So far, he has played an important role in communicating, cooperating and interacting compassionately and effectively with Muslim thinkers in the path of dialogue between Islamic groups, as well as communication with scholars of different religions and spiritual schools for dialogue and cooperation in the areas of their shared interests.
Additionally, Professor Syed Ali Mohammad Naqvi today plays a significant role in the intellectual and scientific leadership of young academics willing to benefit from modern Islamic teachings in India and other regions of the Islamic world.
For Iran and India, which are the owners of two great human civilizations, and have a significant shared culture, especially the Persian language, which fortunately has always had many speakers and admirers in India, the presence of noble personalities like Dr. Naqvi is a blessing who can further bridge and revive the scientific and cultural relations between Iran and India, especially in the field of humanities and Islamic sciences.
While wishing good health and more success to Professor Seyed Ali Mohammad Naqvi, I hope that in the future we will continue to witness his scientific efforts and the authoring of new scientific works. Here, I would like to take this opportunity to announce the interest of Iranian scientific circles to benefit more from Dr. Naqvi's participation in scientific events in Iran. Additionally, I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of the Network of Virtual Universities of the Islamic World, for his continuing and successful efforts to improve ties between Iranian and non-Iranian scholars, particularly Indian scholars.

Peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings,
Dr. Reza Gholami
