Deadline for Foreign Works Submission Is Extended to Sep. 21, Head of the Secretariat of the Farabi International Award Says
“The deadline for work submission in the foreign sector of the Award was extended till September 21,” Head of the Secretariat of the Farabi International Award said.
“We extended the deadline for domestic works one week because of the increasing number of requests; but where the foreign section is concerned, we extended it another 20 days to facilitate the process of work submission,” the Information and Advertising Department of the Secretariat of the Eight Farabi International Award quoted Dr. Hosein Mirzaei as saying.
“This way, the applicants will have 20 days to register their works on Iranology and Islamic Studies on the electronic system of this year’s Award,” he added.
All the foreign researchers in the field of Islamic Studies and Iranology have until September 21 (Wednesday) to register their works, including the final research report, theses, and books written in the past four years (from the beginning of the Iranian New Year in 2012 to the End of the Iranian calendar year in 2016), on the site of the Award.
Where the domestic sector of the Award is concerned, the Secretary has received more than 3700 works from writers, authors, translators and researchers, as well as universities, institutes, and scientific communities.
